Was sind EU-Strukturfonds? Wie können Projektleiter sie nutzen?
Der Zweck dieses Bereiches ist es, Ihnen die Programmplanung für die Strukturfonds 2007-2013 zu erläutern: Verständnis der Umwelt der Gemeinschaft bzgl. Strukturfonds, von der Nachricht, Methodiken ... Es existieren zwei Strukturfonds und belaufen sich für einen Zeitraum von insgesamt 7 Jahre auf ein Budget von rund 308 Milliarden Euro: es sind die Europäischen Fonds für regionale Entwicklung (EFRE) und der Europäischen Sozialfonds (ESF).
Darüber hinaus werden die Mitgliedstaaten in den Genuss eines Fonds zur Unterstützung der Entwicklung des ländlichen Raums (ELER), und eines Fonds für Fischerei (EFF) kommen. In einigen Mitgliedstaaten, vor allem in denen die in den Jahren 2004 und 2007 beigetreten sind, setzt die EU auf die Modernisierung der Infrastruktur und unterstützt diese durch Kohäsionsfonds.

Um in den Genuss der EU-Strukturfonds zu kommen, müssen die Projekte bestimmte Prioritäten aufweisen, z.B. Arbeitsplatzschaffung, Bildung, Innovation oder Nachhaltigkeit.
